Missouri State to pay more money to men's basketball assistants. Here's how much.

Missouri State is expected to commit more money to its head men's basketball coach and his training staff for the upcoming season.

On Thursday, the Missouri State Board of Governors will vote to approve the contracts of head coach Dana Ford's new coaching staff.

Assistant coaches Jake Headrick and Jase Herl along with director of basketball operations Sheldon Everett are all due to make more money than their predecessors. A new contract for associate head coach Corey Gipson is not listed in the meeting's minutes.

Excluding Gipson, the new coaching staff is expected to make $48,943 more annually than the previous staff.
