Missouri State to invest more money into Lady Bears coaching staff after NCAA Tournament run

Following the departure of head coach Kellie Harper in the wake of an NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 appearance, it appears Missouri State is going to invest more money into its new Lady Bears coaching staff.

New head coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton's staff is slated to make more money than Harper's staff did before the majority of it departed for Tennessee.

The Missouri State University Board of Governors is expected to approve the contracts for the new Lady Bears assistant coaches on Friday.

Harper's assistant coaching staff in its final season made $257,487 between Jon Harper, Jessica Jackson and Jackie Stiles when you don't include the additional $20,000 Stiles received for promotional compensation.
