The Lady Bears needed an experienced guard and they got one.
Missouri State announced the signing of Angel Scott, a 5-foot-10 transfer guard from Stephen F. Austin. She has two years of immediate eligibility remaining.
"Angel Scott, a veteran guard with a versatile skill set, is coming to Missouri State after two successful years in a winning program," Lady Bears head coach Beth Cunningham said in a release. "Angel is highly competitive and fits in perfectly with our team culture. She has a high basketball IQ, can handle the ball, and brings in an outstanding perimeter shot that will stretch the floor for us offensively.
