MOLINE, Ill. — March is all about surviving and advancing.
Somehow, someway, the Lady Bears survived and advanced.
The Lady Bears overcame a 15-point deficit against Drake with a 63-49 victory on Friday night at the TaxSlayer Center in Moline, Illinois. They will play the winner of late Friday night's game between No. 3 Northern Iowa and No. 6 Valparaiso on Saturday at 4 p.m.
A win should also strengthen the Lady Bears' chances at making their third-straight NCAA Tournament. While they're still alive to receive an automatic bid by winning the conference tournament, they entered Saturday as a team considered one of the last teams in to make the 68-team field.
