Missouri State (8-2) cruised to a wire-to-wire 72-43 win over Southern (2-8) on Saturday afternoon at JQH Arena.
The win marks the Lady Bears' fourth in a row which has included statement wins over South Dakota State and Mizzou. The Lady Bears will conclude non-conference play on Tuesday against Toledo at 11 a.m. at JQH Arena.
The Lady Bears' defensive dominance continued throughout the afternoon while holding the Lady Jaguars to nine points in each of the first two quarters.
