Beth Cunningham added her second commitment for the Class of 2024 after Blue Valley Northwest prospect Lainie Douglas gave her verbal to the Lady Bears on Monday.
Douglas is a 6-foot-4 forward who held offers from Kansas City and Eastern Illinois. Her Twitter account showed she was also receiving interest from Oklahoma State.
Douglas joins Vashon 2024 point guard JaNyla Bush as a commit to Missouri State. The two would sign their National Letters of Intent in November.
Douglas is coming off a Kansas 6A All-State honorable mention selection. Statistics for her junior year were not immediately available but she is a capable 3-point shooter and someone who can block a shot at the defensive end.
