New Missouri State football coach Bobby Petrino has added a highly-touted quarterback to the Bears' 2020 roster.
Jaden Johnson will transfer to Missouri State after redshirting a season at Southern Miss. He will be eligible to play immediately and will have four seasons of eligibility.
The 6-foot-2, 208-pound quarterback was the No. 20 ranked pro-style quarterback in the nation by 247Sports his senior year at Kirby High in Memphis.
Johnson was ranked as a four-star quarterback by ESPN. Out of high school, Johnson was offered by Louisville, Georgia, Indiana and Memphis.
