Missouri State and Drury will meet on the baseball diamond for a good cause.
The Bears and the Panthers will play a nine-inning exhibition game Saturday, Sept. 23 in the second ever “Battle for Bell” to fight Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). The game will take place at U.S. Baseball Park in Ozark, the home of the Drury baseball team, and proceeds from the game will benefit the CoxHealth ALS Clinic.
Missouri State and Drury will honor the memory of the late Howard Bell, the former baseball coach at Glendale High School who died of ALS in 2013.
