Missouri State's defense appeared to be still a work in progress early in the Bears' opening game of the season.

Newcomer Tyrik Dixon knocked down the game's opening points and after the Trojans responded at the other end, Keandre Cook was left alone in the corner for a 3-pointer. Josh Hall, another newcomer, knocked down an isolation jumper to help the Bears start 100% from the field.
