For the third time in four seasons, the Missouri State Bears are regular season champions of the Missouri Valley Conference.
The Bears clinched at least a share of the regular-season MVC championship with a 9-5 win over the Patriots on Thursday night in Dallas.
A win Friday night or Saturday afternoon over Dallas Baptist can give the Bears the conference outright.
The win gives the Bears a quality win as Missouri State looks to make its second NCAA Tournament in a row.
