ST. LOUIS — After being picked to win the Missouri Valley Conference before the season, the Bears' season has come to an end in the Arch Madness semifinals.

Missouri State (16-17, 9-9) saw its season end in an 89-82 loss to Valparaiso on Saturday evening at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis.

The Bears showed flashes of what appeared to be their potential in their win over Indiana State on Friday night, but they went back to their inconsistent play on Saturday.
