Missouri State basketball players listed in police report as persons of interest for theft

Two Missouri State men’s basketball players are listed as persons of interest in a police report from Dec. 22.

The report alleges freshman center Darian Scott and senior center Tanveer Bhullar were involved in a $1,500 theft from a woman named Callie McNeil.

The report states McNeil invited Scott and Bhullar, along with friends, to her apartment, and that the money went missing between 2:30 a.m. and 4 a.m.

Scott and Bhullar asked to use McNeil’s bathroom, accessible through her bedroom.

According to the report, McNeil said Bhullar “went in there a few times and one time he was in there for a while.
