A rare mid-January non-conference game resulted in an easy win for the Bears.

Missouri State (9-1, 6-1) took care of Division II Missouri S&T with a 94-49 win Sunday evening at JQH Arena. The announcement of the scheduling of the game came late Friday night.

MSU is off to its best start since the 2009-10 season under then-head coach Cuonzo Martin when the Bears started 10-1. That season saw the Bears go 24-12 and make a Postseason Tournament.

The Bears took the game in a wire-to-wire win.
