Missouri State baseball stayed alive in a 5-0 elimination game win over Illinois Chicago on Thursday afternoon in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in Terre Haute, Indiana.

The Bears got the pitching they needed from Hayden Minton to help their chances of going on any type of run after a disappointing loss to open their tournament.

The Bears will play in another elimination game on Friday at 10 a.m. against the loser of Thursday night's matchup between Evansville and Murray State.
