TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Missouri State scored the game-winning run in the top of the ninth and the Bears survived to play a second elimination game on Friday.
The 4-3 elimination win over Murray State sets the Bears up for a 5 p.m. matchup with the loser of Friday afternoon's loser between Indiana State and Evansville.
With two outs in the ninth, Izzy Lopez hit a hard grounder to third which was misplayed and thrown over the first baseman's head while Nick Rodriguez scored the winning run from third.
