The girls basketball teams from Kickapoo and Lebanon both climbed upward in the newest high school basketball rankings for the state.
The Class 5 girls basketball poll from the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association saw Kickapoo climb from No. 7 to No. 6, and Lebanon jump from No. 10 to No. 8.
The boys coaches poll saw little movement occur for Springfield area teams, save for Bolivar’s hope from No. 7 to No. 4 in Class 4. The Liberators (19-3) have won 13 of their last 14 games and most recently snapped off three consecutive wins against Waynesville, Springfield Catholic and Central.
