More than a year after exciting fans at JQH Arena during the 2017 Bass Pro Tournament of Champions, Marvin Bagley III becomes the latest high draft pick to have played in the tournament.
Bagley was drafted by the Sacramento Kings with the No. 2 overall pick in Thursday night's NBA Draft.
The 6-foot-11 forward played one season at Duke a year after starring at Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, California) on the JQH Arena floor during the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions.
In 2017, Bagley grabbed MVP honors at the event while playing as the consensus No. 1 junior in the country before reclassifying in order to go to college a year earlier.
