He’s 5-foot-5-inches and all of it is muscle. He ran for over 4,500 yards and had 87 total touchdowns in a storied career to help make his team among the best in Class 1.

His name is Dakota Wilson, Marionville’s “Little Monster.” A running back the likes of which do not come around too often.

Wilson played his last game as a football Comet as Marionville fell to Thayer 24-0 in the Class 1 District 3 title game, but he leaves a stat line and a commitment to excellence that puts him in a rare tier of players.
