Man allegedly fires shotgun at people after reportedly trespassing in northwest Missouri

Two northwest Missouri men are facing charges and fines after they were allegedly involved with a trespassing incident and one fired a shotgun while fleeing private property.

Livingston County Agent Caleb Pryor along with K9 Waylon were called to Grundy County, about a two-hour drive north of Kansas City, for a trespassing call the early morning of April 30.

In a probable cause statement from Missouri Department of Conservation requested by the Springfield News-Leader, the family of the property owners reportedly heard a shot and went to check it out. As they crested a hill on the property, the pair spotted two men with a turkey, one in all camouflage and the other appearing to wear Amish clothing.
