There are a lot of things you can call Missouri State football player Malik Earl.
Senior. Receiver. Captain. Playmaker.
He’ll even join you and take it a step further: “I’m a loose cannon,” he said the other day.
There’s one label that definitely doesn’t apply, though: Boring.
“I wear my heart on my sleeve and I play the game with a lot of passion,” Earl said. “In my mind, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.”
On the field, Earl was voted a team captain before last season and emerged as the Bears’ best pass-catching threat.
