As a coach and administrator at Missouri State, the list of student-athletes that Bill Rowe had a positive impact on has to measure in the hundreds, if not thousands.
But as he prepares to be honored as a Missouri Sports Legend by the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame on Wednesday, Rowe isn’t focusing on the people he has helped.
He’s thinking about those who have helped him along the way.
“You can’t do it by yourself, and I really believe that with all my heart,” Rowe said Monday. “I’m so grateful to those people we’ve had that have served as my mentors, from my playing days up to coaches and administrators, spiritually, and I do appreciate that.
