Before the end of Parkview's practice on Monday, the Vikings split into groups of two or three to take some practice shots.
The players wore blank, focused expressions as the loud music from the speakers echoed throughout the gym while they worked on their jump shots.
Six minutes before practice was scheduled to end, head coach Landon Cornish called the team in to end the formal practice.
Instead of leaving right away, the players stuck around and played games of around the world and one-on-one. Smiles and jokes lit up the gym until it was time to go home.
