FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Tucker McCann made a 19-yard field goal with five seconds remaining, and Missouri extended its winning streak to six straight games with a 48-45 victory over Arkansas on Friday.
The win caps a remarkable turnaround from a 1-5 start to the season for the Tigers (7-5, 4-4 Southeastern Conference), who were led by quarterback Drew Lock's 448 yards passing and five touchdown passes.
Lock completed 25 of 42 passes and threw his 43rd touchdown pass of the season to set the SEC's single-season record for touchdown passes in the win. The previous record was 40 and set in 2007 by Kentucky quarterback Andre Woodson.
