'Little man syndrome' comes up big in Bears win

While going back-and-forth with a 2-8 Oral Roberts, Missouri State was looking for something to give them a spark.

Little did they know that the spark would come from the shortest guy on the team.

All 5-foot-11 of junior guard Ronnie Rousseau III wouldn’t back down from Oral Roberts’ 6-foot-8 freshman forward Chris Martin after Martin gave MSU senior forward Jordan Martin a shove.

Rousseau and Martin each received a technical, but the technical gave the Bears the edge they needed on their way to a 86-76 win.

“We were already on a little run and that play really did it,” senior guard Dequon Miller said.
