Link Academy announced on Thursday afternoon that former Louisiana State associate head basketball coach Bill Armstrong is the new head coach of its high school program.
Rodney Perry, who guided Link to a runner-up finish at the GEICO Nationals in the school's first season in 2021-22, was announced as an assistant coach at Kansas State on Wednesday.
Armstrong joins Link Academy after previously serving on Will Wade's staff at LSU in Baton Rouge. He was fired alongside Wade in March just days after the school received NCAA notice of allegations involving violations that had occurred since 2017.
