Missouri State received word Tuesday night that its 2017 recruiting class received a big addition.
Literally.
Darian Scott, a 6-foot-11 post player from Centennial High School in Las Vegas, committed to the Bears. He’s the second commit the team has received in the last two weeks, after 6-foot-7, 220-pound power forward Reggie Scurry from Northern Oklahoma College committed last week.
Scott, who scored a 25 on his ACT, said the school’s academics and business school were big reasons for making the decision. On his official visit last month – plus subsequent home visits by the Bears’ coaching staff – everything felt like home.
