Texas Christian rallied late to defeat Missouri State 3-2 on Saturday in Game One of the Fort Worth Super Regional.
The Horned Frogs (46-16) are now one win away from the College World Series.
TCU catcher Evan Skoug, the Big 12’s co-Player of the Year, hit a 2-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to win the game for the Horned Frogs.
Missouri State starter Dylan Coleman was dominant through seven innings, allowing only one run. But he left the game after walking a batter in the eighth inning. Left-hander Jordan Knutson came in to face Skoug, and the junior catcher came through for TCU with a 2-run blast.
