There may be a leader in the clubhouse when it comes to the Missouri State quarterback position.
The Bears finished up their spring practices with the Maroon & White Spring Game at Plaster Stadium, and senior quarterback Brodie Lambert put up some big numbers.
Lambert was 20-of-31 for 216 yards and a touchdown, with sophomore Breck Ruddick finishing 6-for-16 for 92 yards with one TD and one interception. Ruddick also had a 69-yard scramble for a touchdown. Redshirt freshman Michael Briggs was 12-for-15 for 120 yards and a score.
The quarterbacks rotated throughout, working with the first-string and second-string units, but it’s tough to overstate the efficiency of the offense while Lambert was under center.
