Lady Panthers' depth shines as they improve to 7-0

Paige Robinson and overwhelming depth played a strong role again on Sunday afternoon as the Lady Panthers stayed perfect for the season — and the last 39 games.

Robinson had an ordinarily strong line in this 7-0 season — 22 points, seven assists and five rebounds — to lead Drury past Maryville 92-59 at O’Reilly Family Event Center.

“We know to be successful, Paige will have to score a lot,” said senior forward Emily Parker. “She’s done well at recognizing opportunities to score and to dish.”

The team also recognizes that the post players must play a stronger role this season in continuing the Lady Panthers’ winning ways, she says.
