The Lady Bears completed a historic undefeated season at JQH Arena and delivered one more win at home for seniors Alexa Willard and Shameka Ealy with a 72-61 victory over Loyola to close the 2019-20 regular season. No. 21-ranked Missouri State travels to Moline, Illinois for the Hoops in the Heartland tournament next weekend, where they are the No. 1 seed.
Missouri State (26-4, 16-2 MVC) held a 62-57 cushion with 3:06 remaining and the Lady Bears kept possession for nearly an entire minute, eventually scoring on Jasmine Franklin’s bank off the glass through contact that drew a Loyola foul.
