The Missouri State Lady Bears are hoping for a better homestand this weekend than the last one they went through.
Their most recent weekend at JQH Arena ended in a couple of Missouri Valley Conference losses – to Drake and Northern Iowa. That ended a perfect conference start to the season and dropped the Lady Bears out of first place in the league.
Missouri State (11-7, 4-2) bounced back to beat Bradley and Loyola last week but still sits in fifth place in the league race.
This week brings home games against Evansville on Friday and Southern Illinois on Sunday.
