This weekend has the potential to be one to remember – or one to forget – for the Missouri State women’s basketball team.
The Lady Bears are in a three-way tie for the top spot in the Missouri Valley Conference, with Drake and Northern Iowa.
All three have 7-2 records, and the Lady Bears will travel to Northern Iowa on Friday and Drake on Sunday.
This weekend’s games will potentially give one team a big boost going into the final eight games of the season. If the Lady Bears win both games, they’ll have the inside track to a top seed for the MVC Tournament.
