Lady Bears fight back, but can't overcome early deficit at Northern Iowa

Missouri State lost its first conference game of the season Thursday night in Cedar Falls, Iowa, as Northern Iowa controlled the game from the start.

A Mariah White jumper gave the Lady Bears a 2-0 start to the game, but that was the last time Missouri State would lead for the rest of the night.

Northern Iowa finished the first quarter up nine, led by 13 at half, and held a commanding 17-point lead heading to the final frame.

Senior Karli Rucker and freshman Emerson Green led the way for the Panthers with 19 and 17, respectively.
