The Missouri State Lady Bears opened their 2017-18 home slate with a 62-36 win over Central Missouri.
After a tough loss at Ball State Monday, the Lady Bears were excited to get back to JQH Arena on a quick turn around.
“Having a quick turnaround makes it a bit easier to get over that hump,” senior guard Liza
The hump was easy to get over as the Lady Bears turned to a top team in Division II, Central Missouri, to even their record back to a 1-1.
The Lady Bears started with a lead but soon grew short-handed as starting junior guard Danielle Gitzen left the court early in the first quarter after hitting her head against the hardwood.
