After falling to Kickapoo in the state championship two years ago, Kirkwood finally got its revenge.
Kirkwood won its second straight Class 5 state championship with a 67-50 win over Kickapoo on Saturday at JQH Arena.
The Lady Chiefs defeated the Pioneers in the 2016 championship, 63-53, at Mizzou Arena in Columbia.
