WILLARD — Two of the area's elite boys basketball teams will meet on the hardwood Saturday night at Willard High School in the championship game of the Willard Basketball Classic.
Kickapoo's loaded roster will play the Aminu Mohammed-led Greenwood Blue Jays at approximately 8 p.m. The game will follow the girls' tournament's championship game between Willard and Camdenton at 6:30 p.m.
The Kickapoo and Greenwood matchup features the No. 1 and No. 2 teams, respectively, from the News-Leader's preseason Fab 15 rankings. An updated version of the power rankings will be released early next week.

Mohammed and point guard Grant Harper led Greenwood to an 88-62 semifinal win over Willard on Friday night.
