One of the brightest young stars in the city has been selected in the MLB Draft, and now he has a decision to make.
Kickapoo senior Mason Auer was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 39th round of the 2019 Major League Baseball Draft with the No. 1,182 overall pick.
Auer is signed on to play baseball at Missouri State in 2020. He now has the choice to forgo his college career by signing a contract, or he could choose to go to school.
