The streaking Kickapoo Lady Chiefs displayed their stifling defensive strengths again on Wednesday night in winning their 23rd straight game.
Their offensive strengths, too.
They dominated the boards and Indya Green and Ysabella Fontleroy dominated the scorebook with 47 points during a 68-41 victory over visiting Nixa in the Class 6 state sectional.
Green scored 30 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in adding to her season average of a double-double. Fontleroy scored 17 points and also was an unstoppable force around the basket.
Kickapoo rose to 27-2 and earned a quarterfinal matchup at Jefferson City at 1 p.
