Missouri State is now the winner of its last three games after avenging an early conference season loss to Valparaiso.

The Bears (11-11, 5-4) defeated the Crusaders 55-54 in an overtime defensive slugfest in Valparaiso, Indiana, on Tuesday night.

With the win, MSU moves into a tie for third place in the Missouri Valley Conference standings with Valparaiso.
