Junior returns to right field after summer ACL tear

During a mid-July game, the Missouri State right fielder was sprinting down the baseline trying to beat out a ground ball when he lunged for first base and hyperextended his leg. He was able to walk off the field on his own, but he could tell something wasn’t right.

Junior Jack Duffy tore his ACL last summer while playing in a game for the Wilson Tobs of Wilson, North Carolina.

“I could tell something was wrong as soon as I hit the bag,” Jack said. “I kept trying to run, but I physically couldn’t. It wasn’t something I could just shake off.
