Little Rock set the tone for Missouri State's disappointing season when the Trojans beat the Bears at the buzzer on opening night a year ago.
The Bears didn't let that happen again.
Missouri State (3-0) continued to impress while sharing the ball in an 85-77 win over Little Rock (4-3) on Monday night at JQH Arena.
The Bears' ball movement, and movement without the ball, impressed in the early minutes of the game.
Sophomore Ja'Monta Black sank four 3-pointers in the first nine minutes. His fourth was a part of a 13-0 run that also saw junior Jared Ridder sink his first of the game to give the Bears a 23-11 lead.
