James River kayak series between guide service and nonprofit is 'unique step back in time'

A kayak series is returning this summer to offer an educational and recreational way to enjoy James River.

James River Basin Partnership is once again working with 37 North Expeditions, an adventure guided company, to bring the paid kayaking experience with day trips slated for July 10, July 24 and Sept. 24, along with an overnight planned for Aug. 27.

The day trips start at $98 with the overnight set at $199.

With more than 300 river miles, James River and its tributaries start in Webster County and empty into Table Rock Lake.
