For the past week, Missouri State University football fans have worried about the status of Jacob Clark.
The graduate QB was injured late in the second quarter of the WKU game after a late hit out of bounds. The play ultimately sidelined him for the rest of the game with an apparent knee injury.
Throughout the game and during the week, Clark was seen with crutches and a leg brace, and it was unclear whether the injury was severe. This development led many fans to fret the injury could potentially end his season.
Many fans felt this episode was similar to another injury Clark endured in 2023 – a season-ending shoulder injury.
