For the first time in Jackie Stiles' life, she decided to take a step back and think about what she wants to do.

Stiles, who had dreams of becoming the Missouri State head coach one day, quickly found her next coaching job to keep her moving in the profession. She stayed in-state and was hired at Tulsa.
While starting her job before making the move from Norman, Stiles took a phone call in a Tulsa hotel hallway and dropped a folder with papers from her new job as she went into her room.
