Parkview coach Paul Hansen knew going into this season he would rely a lot on junior running back Blake Delacruz.
But Hansen is still surprised when he looks at the stat sheet after games.
"Usually I don't realize how many yards he actually has until I hear about it after a game," Hansen said. "I just know that I like to give him the ball — a lot."
Through the first three games of the season, Delacruz has carried the ball 85 times for 601 yards and 2 touchdowns.
