Missouri State announced Wednesday evening Dana Ford will be the next head coach of the university's men's basketball team.
The announcement comes a day after ESPN college basketball insider Jeff Goodman reported the school was closing in on a deal with Ford.
Ford joins Missouri State after four seasons as the head coach of Tennessee State.
Ford will be introduced at a press conference on Thursday morning.
In his four years as the Tigers’ head coach, Ford led the team to a 57-65 record.
In his first season as head coach, the Tigers finished 5-26.
