It is time for the rest of the Ozarks to be worried about the Willard girls

WILLARD — If you are on the court with the Willard girls, you need to be prepared to run.

Now that Willard beat Bolivar 64-34, then perennial powerhouse Strafford 68-61 and now Camdenton 81-56 en route to a Willard Classic tournament championship, people will have to take notice of the Tigers’ fast-paced game.

“We base everything off our tempo,” head coach J.J. Adamson said. “We say it every day in practice — we’ve got to go as fast as we can.”

Since none of the roster is taller than 5’10”, it is a style the Tigers needed to adapt to.
