When Jeremiah Tilmon entered the Missouri men's basketball program in the summer of 2017, there already was a plan in place to help him grow.
On the court, it was to harness his physically gifted nature and utilize it to be a superior rebounder, shot-blocker and scorer. Off the court, it was to learn from Tigers head coach Cuonzo Martin, who shares with Tilmon the hometown of East St. Louis, Illinois.
Martin credits former Purdue coach Gene Keady for molding him as a player and man.
Now the Missouri boss has been paying it forward to Tilmon.
