The first conference game of the Missouri State University football team’s season ended in a 27-22 loss to Western Kentucky.
The biggest hurt of the night came not from the final score but the injury the franchise player, senior quarterback Jacob Clark, suffered in the second quarter, which left him on the sidelines in a knee-brace and crutches.
Full details on the severity of Clark’s injury have yet to be announced, but, the fact he was up and about, even if it was with the crutches, suggests it’s probably not cutting his final year short.
