A lot can happen in five minutes.
Missouri State fans can attest to that, after watching the No. 22 Missouri State Ice Bears defeat the No. 17 Colorado State Rams 2-1.
“I knew it was going to be a really good game,” Ice Bears head coach Jeremy Law said. “I expected it to be a close game, too.”
With teams so close in rankings, a game like Thursday’s can be expected. Each team took a good amount of shots on goal through the entire game.
In the first two periods, however, Colorado State was really making an effort, finishing with 31 shots on goal.
